This list is by no means a complete feature list, since it is a game under heavy development. Most of these are features planned.

  • Multiplatform support by using SDL and OpenGL
  • 3D positional sound through OpenAL
  • Client/server architecture for Internet play
  • Experience/history/user profile server for using the same army again and again
  • Multiple races and technologies
  • 3D World for seeing the war from the battlefield
  • 360 degree rotatable battlefield
  • Coordinated attacks with multiple attackers/defenders
  • Battle damage on individual parts of a unit/squad (arms, tracks, weapons)
  • Different weapons types - single point damage, splash damage, close combat and "magic" weapons like psychic attacks
  • Different shields types - armor, force fields and "magic protection"
  • Visible weapons and shields on units
  • Damage on terrain and structures
  • Engineering troops to repair bridges and such
  • Repair/healer units
  • Command radius where units from the same company must keep within for effective attacks
  • Morale
  • Possibly some kind of energy source within a unit to power energy shields and weapons

  • Chatroom (like battle.net)
